It’s been such a while since a book with my name on it has dropped. Like, a long time! I’ve been a bit busy in other matters of life, what can I say? Since my last book, I think I’ve added a couple more little humans to my family. But the time has come!! And I’m back. It feels great. Characters, tropes, settings, and all the other stuff that comes with creating stories. It’s my all-time favorite thing to do! I’m already started on the next release, with edits to a young adult waiting in the wings. When something you love awaits you each day, there is never work involved. But first, Lucy!

Lucy is out and about today!I’ve gotten mixed reviews on the ol’gal. As I always seem to do. Of course there will always be a Lucy circle, and a not-so-Lucy circle. I get it. Not everyone is meant for this type of drama. The cold feet of marriage…the old and tired feet of marriage…the temptation of someone lost to you, reappearing and asking you to hold their hand and pretend for a week. But it’s real. Okay, so maybe not the tropical island setting. But it happens. Life’s questions and propositions. So when it does, this might be the result. Might be. I think of my success like this: if I’ve entertained you, gotten you out of your head for any amount of time, made you believe Lucy and Martin are dancing between the pages…my satisfaction is complete. Now if you throw your E-reader across the room and curse me, not so good. But I enjoy telling stories, and it is my heartfelt desire, that you enjoy reading them. Truly. So onto Lucy….

Well, Lucy and Martin. She met him on the night before her wedding. By accident, at her bachelorette party. She thought he was the stripper her mother hired. But nope, he was just there by accident to confuse the bride. But cold feet be gone. She went on to marry Tyler. Who was great. For awhile. During his slump as an actor. But things are looking up for him. And lonely for her. Enter Vanessa…her childhood best friend. She invited the two to go on a trip with her new fiancé, to meet his mother. Who happened to be, who? Martin. Of course Lucy didn’t know this at the time. But I say, sign me up!! Then again, maybe not. But where would a story go, if not full throttle to places that have people talking about morals. Let’s just say, it becomes interesting when Vanessa and Tyler get delayed and leave Lucy and Martin to travel alone. Very interesting.

And that’s where I’m leaving it. Read All Signs Lead To Lucy and tell me what you think. And remember, it’s for entertainment purposes only. Not a revival of the world going to hell in a hand basket. We’ve got the NEWS to watch for that. lol

Oh, did I mention, I wrote the book with the cast of Younger in mind. Fun times!! See my earlier post on who was who.

Happy Reading, my dear friends. 🙂
