Hello! I’m not sure where to begin. It’s been awhile since I’ve written. You know how life can get…messy, unpredictable, and ever so quickly speeding by. Before you know it, months have gone by and what you were once meaning to do (leave a note at my website) well, it gets pushed to tomorrow. Guess what? It’s tomorrow. Time to update!

Romancing the Author released….have you read it yet? Just checking. 🙂 There is a second installment to be released next year, so don’t forget to read the first one. I promise, life will get easier for Cara. But first she will be tested by a love that was overlooked. Goodness, I’m such a tease. lol

What’s in the pipeline for the future, you asked? It’s a standalone. Now before you roll your eyes and wonder where in the world Boone County is found in the itinerary, I’ll get there. But first, my untitled standalone. I’m super excited about this one, as well. It’s first person POV, so I’m a bit pumped about that. I miss the ‘Waking Amy’ days of writing in the mindset of my heroine. But unlike Amy, Gena is very sure of herself and what she wants. She just gets a bit confused when what she wants is harder to get, especially with a man getting in the way. *cue Nico. He is the heart throb in this one! And ladies, he cooks. Yes, he’s a chef who just might have a chance in winning Gena’s stubborn heart. Time will tell. 😉

And yes, now on to Boone County. The next installment will catch everyone up with how everyone is doing, as well as introduce you to the youngest Boone girl. Her story, like so many, is full of love, loss, and finding her way. In more ways than one. You’ll also get to know Birdie a little better because she’s the grandmother to this spit fire. I will post a release date for this one soon.

Now onto the book I’m beginning to read this weekend.

I don’t know, something in the description spoke to me. It says I’ll laugh and cry, so I can’t wait for the journey to begin. Isn’t it great, opening the first page and taking the step into chapters that follow? It’s definitely an easier task to read than to write. If only I could empty my imagination onto the pages and just wave a wand to organize it. But I’ll get there. One word at a time.

November is upon us, dear friends. It’s the start to a Hallmark movie, memories of family, and the hope for love and belonging. So to further this hope, I’m giving away one of my favorite books, Unfinished. For a limited time, to be announced, you can download it on Amazon and step into the lives of two people facing their own crisis…getting dumped by their partners. By chance, they meet one another and find the hope that they felt was lost. In fact, they begin to fall in love with one another. But fate steps in and plays a cruel trick. Their ex partners show back up, and we’ve all wondered ‘what if’, right? What if we were able to turn back time and get it right this time? Is it worth the risk of losing what we’ve found? Read Unfinished and find out what happens to Brian and Kate.

Well, until the next time I stop by….have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Soak up some love, watch some good entertainment, and read a great book! I will be busy writing my next release and loving every minute of it. :)))
