How many of you survived the year of January? My gosh, does that month just get longer and longer, or is it me? Maybe we’re so hopped up from December and all the hype, that January goes in slow motion. Like that’s how a month should act. Not all crazy like Christmastime. Which by the way, is the shortest month. Am I right?
Anyway, now that January is over, how many are still holding true to those resolutions? I made a few. Not anything that will rip me a part. Just some ‘healthy living’ ones. Ones I should already be doing. Like a bottle of water a day. Not the big bottle. The grip-sized one. I’ve managed to do three days of this oath. lol And then there’s the less stress one. To find joy and be thankful. No matter what. I’ve been holding true to that one. I only had two slip ups. My fourteen year old son beat the joy out of me on those instances. I’m guessing by week two of this month, the water notion will have dissolved. Maybe not, but when you don’t like something and only do/say it because you know it’s right, it just might not hold.
I did declare two book releases this year. And I’m definitely doing those. See, something I like. Something I’ll do. 🙂 I plan to drop the new cover here this month! I’m so excited!!
And I might try to train our new dog, Po. Maybe to roll over, or even to come when I call her to go inside. That’s a novel idea. Here she is, asking to be released from the bathroom cage. (It was too cold for her to poo outside)She has an interesting spot on her paw.
I’m sure I’ll be in touch more. Resolution number 4 stipulates I blog more. I blog a lot in my head. I know that doesn’t count. But my toes are back in the water. I’m here. And hopefully you’re there. Reading. If you would like, let me know what you are reading. You know, instead of my hopeful resolutions. ha! I’m reading a few books now. Are you able to do that? I find it like a soap opera. I leave books around like I do with my eye glasses. I just pick up one and continue finding out what’s going on in it. It’s fun!
Here is to a great February! I hope to visit more often.
