Cover Reveal for “Searching For Sarah”

49701848

As many of you may know…or not…I’ve started writing a new series–The Sarah Series. Sarah is in the beginning years of her thirties, wants to settle down, and then figure out the rest. But it’s the settling down part that’s been giving her trouble. The guys she dates either she likes and they don’t want to settle, or she doesn’t and they do. Sort of like life, huh?

Sarah Keller is a career student. It goes hand-in-hand with her indecisiveness about her future. Her foundation growing up was based solely on a single dad who lamented almost daily for his deceased wife–Sarah’s mom. She never got to know her, Sarah’s mom passed away in childbirth.

Becoming a nanny was the last thing Sarah intended to be. But life sometimes throws you a curve ball. And sometimes it’s guised as Sam Turner, and his cutie pie daughter, Sophie.

Sam is about 15 years Sarah’s senior, and fresh out of a relationship. He’s the last thing Sarah is looking to get involved with…but you know what they say about last things??

And so here is the cover! Please let me know if you like it. After all, covers are what we judge a book by, you know! 🙂   Have a great week, everyone! I’m so excited to introduce “Finding Amy”! Doesn’t she look happy? I do believe she just might’ve found her happily ever after!! And for the readers who’ve been with her since the beginning, I’m sure you’re asking the question…who is her happily ever after with? You will have to stay tuned. Specifically, until September 30th. That’s when the questions will be answered in the final release.

In the last book of the Amy series, this naĂŻve girl gets a few of her own questions about life and love answered. And some are not entirely what she ever dreamed. A few characters from the past will pop back in to check on her, and some new ones will be introduced. As the time for the release draws near, I’ll be posting these character inspirations on my Pinterest board, as well as Facebook. So stay tuned to meet the new lineup!

This is what’s coming:

Amy Whitfield travels across the country, either in search of something or to run away from someone. She hasn’t quite figured it out. Living on the little island of Classique just might help her decide. Here she discovers a lot of unanswered questions about the past. Not to mention, she meets someone in particular that challenges her thinking about the present.

Cover Reveal for “Leaving Amy”

Leaving Amy digitalI am sooo pleased to share with you, my cover for “Leaving Amy.” It is the second volume in the Amy series. I had so much fun writing this book. I was asked by a reader if I plot things out…do I know the ending before I even begin to write? I’m pretty amazed that my answer was no. That’s only because I’m a really organized person. Planning things is a small hobby of mine. I have 3 calendars dedicated to planning for things. With books, though I have only a general idea where I’m beginning, a so-so idea where it will go, but the ending is ALWAYS a surprise! The ending to this one will not disappoint. I hope.

Amy, as you know from reading the first book, is a bit naĂŻve to the world without her husband. She’s unsure of herself living without an identity outside of marriage. And without spoiling the second book…she grows even more as the pages flip. You’re going to be proud how she handles herself. You’re also going to want to call her up and give her advice on doing some things differently in places. But, have no fear…she gets there! She really does.

I read all the reviews about what a rose-colored wearing glasses girl she is. How some would like to smack her. How others could identify with her. Trust me…Amy exists! I’ve known some Amys personally. But give her time, she unravels the cocoon that has had her trapped. She finds her legs and begins to stand on them. It takes time for people! It will take the third book for her to finally come full circle…but book 2, “Leaving Amy” will not disappoint! I hope everyone who enjoyed the first book will agree.

I left the guy off the cover intentionally. After all, it is “Leaving” Amy. But, I’ll leave this question with all who are following Amy’s journey…”Who’s leaving?”

“Leaving Amy” releases May 1 everywhere! Pre-order at Amazon today. 🙂

Cover Reveal for WAKING AMY

weekendIt’s here, it’s here, it’s really here! I have a cover for my first book, WAKING AMY. I’m pleased as punch to introduce you to it. Tell me if you like it:)

Waking Amy Cover 12-3-15 (2)

It’s been a long time coming for sure! A couple years to be exact. It’s amazing…you write and write, re-write, and agonize monthly about plot changes, then you finally see the result everyone else will at first glance. This is Amy! Just to give you a quick snippet of her…

Amy is married to Wesley. They have an okay marriage. Nothing wild, nothing too dull. She spent most of her high school days crushing over this guy. So five years into their marriage, Amy sees he’s been a bit distracted. She’s midway into thinking of ways she can kick it up a notch when she goes home after work and finds a note that he’s leaving her…leaving the marriage. He wishes her the best but he can’t go on living the way they do. Amy is crushed to say the least. But Wesley doesn’t get too far. He wrecks a few miles out of town. The hospital calls and informs her he’s in a coma. And oddly enough Amy sees this as a God-send that she has one more chance to get it right…to channel the girl he won’t leave when he awakes. After all, she she’s the one who always shrugs off dinner with their friends and would rather stay at home watching Hallmark movies in her p.j.’s. And let’s not get into the fact she only wears cardigans and flats; black and gray to be exact.

On the journey of transforming herself, she encounters Dr. Mark Reilly; he’s Wesley’s neurologist. He’s also a complete Casanova and monogamously-challenged—definitely not a guy who wants to snuggle in bed eating Rocky Road and doing crossword puzzles with you. He can’t even remember the name of the girl he went out with last weekend. But with Mark’s help and advice on what it takes to be irresistible, Amy hopes her marriage can be saved. Now if she could only stop staring at the good doctor and imagining he’s the one she’s wearing new skirts and makeup for.

The verdict is still out…who will awaken first? Amy or Wesley?

P.S. This is book one in the Amy Series.
